Project
Uday
"Project Uday" is a multifaceted initiative with a dual objective: empowering underprivileged women and addressing the pressing issues of textile and plastic pollution. The project embodies the motto that scalability and sustainability go hand in hand, emphasizing the importance of long-term impact.Recognizing the need to combat poor menstrual hygiene practices and gender inequality, Project Uday introduced cloth-based sanitary napkins, offering a sustainable and cost-effective solution. By providing semi-skilled women with business and tailoring skills, the project fosters financial independence and reducing gender disparities. In the fight against plastic pollution, the initiative raises awareness about menstruation in rural areas and produces cloth bags from upcycled waste materials. Over three years of operation, Project Uday has made a significant impact, directly benefiting 1,392 lives and indirectly touching 7,196 more, while creating 12 entrepreneurs. The project operates through three key verticals: Training & Skill Development, Sanitation, and Health and Nutrition. Collaborations with organizations like the Ministry of Skill Development, SEBI, and Panjab University enable workshops and training programs.

Transforming lives by replacing plastics with earthenware, empowering potters, and promoting sustainable living.
